Love Train – The O’Jays (bass)
About the song
Love Train by The O’Jays went to number one in America in 1973. It was written by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff for their label Philadelphia International, and the band behind it was MFSB, the house band that created the Philly soul sound. A song about peace and people coming together, with a bass line that rolls like a train.
Grab your bass and play along.
Sidenote:
I try to find recognizable easy to play songs for Bass on Rocksmith 2014. I don’t do extra practice for recording, so there will be mistakes. I changed the setup so the G string (orange) is on top and the E string is at the bottom, because I played TABS for guitar before. All songs are in the key of E standard. I like to thank all the creators of the custom DLC’s.
