Rocksmith 2014 CDLC
Many Rivers To Cross – Jimmy Cliff (bass)
About the song
Many Rivers to Cross was written and recorded by Jimmy Cliff in 1969. It became famous through the soundtrack of the film The Harder They Come (1972), where Jimmy Cliff also played the lead role. UB40 covered it in 1983, and so did many others. A slow and soulful song with a big heart.
My Notes:
I know this song from UB40, but I understand why they covered it.
It’s just a great song
Grab your bass and play along, enjoy it!
Sidenote:
I try to find recognizable easy to play songs for Bass on Rocksmith 2014. I don’t do extra practice for recording, so there will be mistakes. I changed the setup so the G string (orange) is on top and the E string is at the bottom, because I played TABS for guitar before. All songs are in the key of E standard. I like to thank all the creators of the custom DLC’s.
