Rocksmith 2014 CDLC
Fast Car – Tracy Chapman
About the song
Fast Car is the song that made Tracy Chapman famous in 1988, after she played it at the Nelson Mandela concert in Wembley Stadium. It went to number one in the Dutch Top 40 that year. In 2023 the country singer Luke Combs brought it back with a cover. A song about dreaming of a better life and getting away in a fast car.
My Notes:
A Nice easy to play song. Keep the notes clean, and time the length.

Grab your bass and play along.
Sidenote:
I try to find recognizable easy to play songs for Bass on Rocksmith 2014. I don’t do extra practice for recording, so there will be mistakes. I changed the setup so the G string (orange) is on top and the E string is at the bottom, because I played TABS for guitar before. All songs are in the key of E standard. I like to thank all the creators of the custom DLC’s.
