A Swingin’ Safari – Bert Kaempfert

My Notes:

There is a reason I picked this song first, and give it number 1. You instantly know what kind of songs there will be in the playlist.

The bass is sometimes leading in the song, that makes it nice to play along. You’ll be in the spotlight for a change.
The song plays easy, with a little shift and you have to be accurate on the beat and it’s a nice song to learn your frets.

I love Afrikaan Beat, that other song from Bert Kaempfert, where the bass plays just out of rhythm with the drum. It’s the song played in the Efteling. It’s great for running, but boring to play on bass.

[Disclaimer:
I try to find recognizable easy to play songs for Bass on Rocksmith 2014. I don’t do extra practice for recording, so there will be mistakes. I learned to play the bass guitar on Rocksmith. I changed the setup so the the G string (orange) is on top and the E string is at the bottom, because I played TABS for guitar before. All songs are in the key of E standard I like to thank all the creators of the custom DLC’s.]
